Admissions Procedure

1. INITIAL ENQUIRIES
The College’s website, www.iconcollege.com, contains information about our courses, entry requirements, course fees and admission procedures. If you need further information or advice regarding which course may be most suitable for you then please email us at info@iconcollege.com and we will do our best to help you.

2. HOW TO APPLY

UK / EU applicants:
Applications should be made using the application form available from the website, www.iconcollege.com,(PDF Format or Word Format) or a hardcopy form available at the College Reception. All completed application forms should be submitted with the following documents to the admission office:

  1. Copies of all academic certificates and transcripts as per entry criteria of your course
  2. A valid English proficiency certificate or test result
  3. Two recent passport-sized photographs
  4. A copy of your passport
  5. Work experience letter (where applicable)
  6. Student Finance Reference Number (where applicable)
  7. Proof of address (e.g. utility bill)

If you have provided all the necessary documents, your application will be assessed and scrutinised by the admission office. Applicants who do not have a valid English proficiency certificate will be required to pass our English Language Test. 3. REGISTRATION AND CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE
a. If you qualify for the course for which you have applied, you will be registered for the course and sent a conditional offer letter, stating the course tuition fees, enrolment/course start date and the duration of the course.
b. If you do not qualify for the course you will be contacted to see if an alternative course may be more suitable for you, taking into account your qualifications, experience and own goals.
c. Any undersubscribed course may be postponed. Any enrolled students will be contacted to discuss options
d. A student's application form and supporting documents will be retained by ICON College in the case of an unsuccessful application for admission.

4. HOW TO PAY

By SLC
In the case of an applicant whose fees are being paid by the Student Loans Company (SLC), the applicant must provide the College with a copy of the SLC correspondence confirming fee payment schedule by SLC.

Self-Finance
Tuition fees are payable yearly in advance and are non-refundable once the course has started. Self-financing students are normally required to pay the tuition fees in full prior to the start of the course. However, the College is prepared to offer payment by instalment terms in some circumstances where an instalment agreement must be signed setting out a fee schedule for the payments.
Course tuition fees should be paid in pounds sterling. Cheques, Bankers Drafts, Pay Orders should be made out to 'ICON College of Technology and Management.' Alternatively, payments can be made by Electronic Funds Transfer to the College Bank account.
