Course Title:
BA (HONS) Business Administration Via HND in Business |
| Following
the successfull completion of the Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND
in Business, the student is then permitted to approch the
London South Bank University "Top-Up" BA(Hons) Business Administration Degree. ICON College has legally
binding agreement with the London South University which
permits to take place. |

Course Duration
You will study for 3-4 years depending
on HND Grade in London to gain your degree, which is awarded
by London South Bank University.
The first
two years will be spent at ICON College in the heart of
London, studying for a nationally recognised BTEC Higher
National Diploma (HND) awarded by Edexcel (formerly the
University of London External Examination Board). This is
a specialist vocational programme with a strong work-related
emphasis.
You will then
be able to transfer directly to the final year of the BA
(Hons) Business Administration Course at London South Bank
University, via their HND top-up programme. Direct entry
into the third year of the BA (Hons) Business Administration
course, at London South Bank University, is subject to minimum
4 distinctions in HND Level 2 Units. |

Final Year Course Structure
BA(Hons) Business administration final year course consist
of Strategic Mangement, dessertation plus 3 specialise units
from chosen specialism and 2 free electives.

Course
Assessment
For the HND, each unit is internally assessed and graded
by qualified Tutors / Assessors and Internal Verifiers.
The final assessment is done by an Edexcel External Examiner.
Grades awarded are Pass, Merit and Distinction. There is
no overall grade awarded for this qualification. |

Other Options at the end of the HND
in Business
You may also top-up your HND to BA (Hons) Business Administration
at many other UK universities. However, the direct entry
to the final year of the BA (Hons) Business Administration
at the London South Bank University, from your progression
at ICON College, allows you to plan ahead for your studies.
With a UK Honours degree you will be able to compete in
the global market for jobs. |
